REGISTRATION
Registration for the full season begins in April with a mid-September
deadline. Subject to available room, some Choir levels also accept
registrations up to mid-January for the spring term. Tuition assistance
is available by contacting the General Manager.
PLEASE NOTE: The "About VIVA"
Registration Package is a downloadable Adobe Acrobat PDF document.
Adobe Acrobat is available free at this
location. If you wish to have the package printed by the
office and mailed to you, please contact the VIVA Office at
250-472-2655 and clearly leave your contact information. The
Registration Package is updated in December and April; the
Schedule is updated quarterly.
UNIFORMS
Families supply black dress pants (not denim) with some elastic
in the waist or an elastic belt, and black shoes & socks (all-black
runners are OK); other items are listed below. Uniforms are worn
at dress rehearsals and performances and specified times during
tours, but not for regular rehearsals.
Additional items Required, by choir level:
Foundation Choir (FNU at UVic, or FNW West Shore):
You will need to purchase a VIVA T-shirt with First Nations
hummingbird design ($10) from the choir.
Girls Choir (GC), Boys Choir (BC), West Shore Choir (WS):
You will supply a white long-sleeved dress shirt with a collar,
and the Choir will supply a blue vest with First Nations hummingbird
design.
Concert Choir (CC), Young Men's Ensemble (YM) and Chorale
(CH):
You will provide a black long-sleeved dress shirt with collar, and
the Choir will supply a blue vest or tie with hummingbird logo. If not
already owned, you may need to purchase a VIVA t-shirt with hummingbird
design ($10) from the Choir. |
